We all talk regularly about being stressed. Literally stress is an essential part of our daily lives. 

Life without stress would mean death. It is utmost important to differentiate stress from anxiety or nervous tension.

When a force is directed at an object, the overstrain caused by the force produces a slight distortion in the object, resulting in stress. IF We accept change, we would have resolved the stress factor before being aware of it.

Dr. Hans Selye defined stress as a non-specific response to any demand on the body. stress is the state you are in, not the agent that produces it, which is is called as stressor.

One has to understand the meaning of non - specific response as well as understand the various demands made on the body And thus can understand what the stress is?

Everyone including animals too faces diverse situations inorder to survive in life.

A tiger or lion has to hunt other animals for food, face threats from its own species and also from the man who mad shoot it.

An executive faces a strike in the factory.  

Whenever there is increase in demand, irrespective of its nature, produces identical biochemical changes in the human body.

How to prevent stress ?

Modern life is full of external stress factors, which cannot be avoided and neither be controlled.

A city produces noise and air pollution along with excessive speed, overcrowding, crime and rudeness,

3. Your  body's reaction 

Once the stress response begins, it is difficult to control either by mind or by body.
